something that happened in New Jersey that at first glance is just a normal you you know, political gotcha type thing.

But it may turn into something that is more of,

you will see this material again.

Because something happened and there may be downstream effects that aren't readily apparent at the moment.

In New Jersey, a man was charged with basically an investor scam type thing. The thing is he had already been charged

before for a I want to say it was a Ponzi scheme and some kind of real estate thing

and he went to prison. He had his sentence commuted by Trump

real late in his presidency.

Now, normally, under normal circumstances in a normal political climate a

president commuting the sentence of someone who then went on to get

charged again that's a political gotcha moment.

That's one of those things, look, he's not really tough on crime or whatever.

You know, it becomes a talking point for a little bit, but it's not really a big deal.

However, it might be worth remembering some of the allegations surrounding what Trump expected in return for pardons.

The person who was charged, this will be their second time at bat. They will definitely be looking at an incredibly lengthy sentence, especially after being

commuted, having a sentence commuted. I have a feeling of judge isn't going to look very

favorably on that. They're going to be looking at time.

If something was given that was a value

and that led to the commutation, that could be a major issue for Trump in the future.

Because of the allegations, I am almost certain that when this person is talking to the

feds they're going to ask about the commutation process.
