Friends Sukkot, I want to share with you a journey, a long journey actually, but not a difficult one,

The Sukkot represent the clouds of glory that protected the Israelites for 40 years as they wandered through the wilderness

Divray Rabbi Eliazah. That is the view of Rabbi Eliezer. Rabbi Akiva Omer, Rabbi Kiva says, Sukkot Mamma Shasalaham. Actually, a sukkah is a sukkah, is a sukkah. It's just literally a sukkah. That's what the Israelites lived in, and that's what it symbolizes. If you look at Source 3, you'll find the same disagreement, but Makhlav It Hashita.
