Elijah and now here's Andrew. Today I'm gonna start a brand new series and I tell you I am

excited about this.

I believe that the Lord led me to teach on lessons from Elijah.

And this is one of the truths that God has just used in my life miraculously. You know I've used these verses many times but they're

just so applicable that I want to use this again out of 1st Corinthians and in chapter 10 it says in verse 6 now these things were our

examples to the intent that we should not lust after evil things as they

also lusted.

Neither be ye idolatres, as were some of them.

As it is written, the people sat down to eat and drink and rose up to play.

Neither let us commit fornication as some of them committed and fell in one day three

and twenty thousand. Neither let us tempt Christ as some of them also tempted and were destroyed

of serpents. Neither murmur ye as some of them also murmured and were destroyed

of the destroyer. Now all of these things happened unto them for examples and they are written for our admonition upon whom the ends of the

world are come.

So in verses 6 and verse 11 it says that all of these things that were written about,

people in the Old Testament were for our benefit or

our example so that we could learn through them.

And you know my testimony is that I got born again when I was eight years old.

I've never been through a period of rebellion where I just went against the Lord.
