and this is my other co-host, Gary Mulesstein. You see Carrie a lot more than you see me,

but that's okay. I'm happy to be here and

hope we can set some good things up and have a good discussion about Daniel. I'm happy to be here

doing it with you. You're in a different spot today, Carrie, but that's all right. Yeah, yeah,

my normal little recording spot is occupied by someone else right now so

all right i'm in the front room got to book the studio time all right well yeah today we're going

to be in daniel one through six for the come follow me um reading and they're carry there's a lot

to cover in here and i don't know how much we're going to get through today. But let's give it a shot.

Let's set it up first.

Now, I know if people have been following your other podcast through Jeremiah and so forth,

you've talked about the different attacking armies.

Now, when I was with you last time, we were talking about the Assyrians who were coming in,

and Isaiah was talking about the Assyrians.

But now, the Syrians were finally beaten off and they went back home, and then the Babylonians come.

But let's set it up.

Give us a recap of what you talked about in Jeremiah and how that

ties into to these chapters. That sounds great. And yeah, we want to give kind of a little bit of a

different emphasis to this one, but the background for the beginning of Jeremiah and Daniel and

Ezekiel are all about the same because it's the same events,

the same place, right?

So I did quite a bit in Ezekiel as well.
