Have you ever met someone who was just, just dead set on doing the wrong thing? I remember a young

man who came to one of my speaker trainings and he was very good. And he said, I came because my

mother told me to come. He said, I'm an ex-offender. And his story was, he said that

when he was in solitary confinement, and he'd been sentenced to 10 years in prison for selling drugs,

he wrote his mother and said, I don't think I can do 10 years. I'm about to lose

my mind. And she wrote back to him and she said, baby, Nelson Mandela, he served 26 years in prison to liberate people in South Africa from apartheid.

She said, you can do 10 years for imprisoning people with the drugs that you sold.

And she sent him a bunch of books.

And among the books that she sent him was my book, Live Your Dreams.

And he did his 10 years, and he got out, and he came to see me.
