America's at a crossroad and someone needs to stand up for America's rights.

Here is my opening statement.

Does America need police?

In other words, do we need law enforcement in this country, this entire country?

This has been a hotly debated subject over the last seven or to eight weeks. It's one of the issues that have

gotten me on national TV and radio and my chance to spend the next few minutes

with you to discuss the need for police, America's need for police.

America's need for police.

Question, am I, Leo Terrell, qualified to talk about law enforcement?

I think the answer is yes.

Here are the facts.

For the last 30 years, I have been a civil rights attorney. You know that. I have worked with law

enforcement for the last 30 years. I have sued law enforcement for excessive use of force, for unlawful detention, for false imprisonment.

As I do this podcast today, I represent a person who was falsely in prison for 12 years based on

false police testimony. I have represented law enforcement for the last 30

years. I have represented officers who have filed discrimination cases. I have represented officers who have filed discrimination cases. I have

represented officers who have claimed that other law enforcement officers

were wrong in their conduct and duties towards citizens. And let me add another nugget. I have family member in law enforcement. For the last 16 years, my sister who is now retired,

she worked for law enforcement.
