Major breaking news as it involves ICE and the Office of Homeland Security, the Homeland Security Department here in the United States.

There's been a major shakeup at ICE about who is going to lead, how they're going to lead,

and what are the tactics of those agents who are rounding people up off of the streets?

is reporting it. This is serious. Here it is.

Get some reaction on this part of the story. Fox has learned of a big shakeup of immigration and customs leadership.

DHS has reassigned chiefs in up to a dozen cities, including the ones you see right here on the map.

They will likely be replaced with officials from Border Patrol and Customs and Border Protection.

Look with all of the success that you're seeing, why these changes?

Well, first of all, the numbers are accurate.

I mean, by the end of this year, by the end of December,

we'll have over 600,000 removals.

I looked at the numbers this morning.

We're at 554,000 deportation.

If you extrapolate out for 12 months this is historic the biggest deportation

operation that we've ever seen and here's the here's the thing so that's tom homin over on fox

news here's the thing the reason that they that you are seeing one of the main reasons that i believe

and i think others look it, it's just sheer logic,

that they are being so heavy-handed and rounding up people without due process, without

a signed warrant from a judge, without even showing any identification, is because they are having trouble meeting these numbers. They are way behind.
