So here we are, week two of Lent, just really getting into things. Maybe we could start just warming up to the

subject matter by thinking about Lenten hymnity. Father Patrick, do you have a favorite Lenten hymn?

I do. Every year on Good Friday I listen to Box St. Matthew's

Corral, the whole same Matthew Passion, which of course features the crowd which is

Oh Sacred Ed surrounded. I absolutely love that

him of music. I just think the melody, the lyric, the whole thing is just so

hauntingly beautiful. For those who are interested.

The Bach Society of the Netherlands.

I forget exactly what it is.

Anyway, there's a there's a society that's recording

all of Bach and they have an extraordinarily beautiful presentation of the

passion crowd. It's a really great recording high quality video really great audio
