What's happening?

Dave, we are doing this after the, what is this the debut or this is the return or the reboot

of the NBA. Exciting. They gave us two games after four and a half months. They're like,

you know what? Just take two games. That's how we're going to start. We're going to ease you in.

I've never been baptized or born again or anything like that, but I may as well have been

tonight. You know, as we record here late at night, we just watch two actual sporting events. And if you think that's good news, I got better news for you. Way more games on the way all weekend long. I couldn't be. It is very exciting. I couldn't be happier. I could be a little more comfortable because I took the big night, I took it upon myself.

The wife and kids are out of town for our night. So I was like, you know what I'm going to do? I'm going to put the Mets on. First mistake. And then I'm going to watch these two basketball games. And we're going to write some things down. We're going to talk about it. And I'm going to order a deep dish pizza from a good place around the corner and six chicken wings. and I got to tell you, I'm not feeling,

Not a great game,

but I felt like there was more intensity in this game.

Lakers had a little low in the third quarter, a little low, big low until the end. But there was intent. You had these had the same LeBron arguing fouls on every call. It was good, right? It was good to be back. It seemed a little like playoff basketball. I didn't check the final stats. There were a ton of turnovers in both games. I know 40 in the Pelicans game. It was probably
