What's up, Laker fans? Welcome to the Laker Film Room podcast. I'm Pete, joined by Darius.

The Lakers got the split that I was hoping for on a two-game weekend between Minnesota and Memphis.

Lakers did not get the first one. They held the wolves under 100 points, but could

not score at all. Wolves ball pressure really dominated in that game. And Lakers lose 97 to 87,

continuing their offensive struggles. And then on Sunday, one of the best games of the season,

frankly, I thought the Lakers defended really well.

You hopped on my playback with me last night for at least the second half when we got to watch some of it together.

But a stellar defensive effort in LeBron's return, who did put up huge box score numbers, but I thought defensively was a big part of that great defensive

effort. And just in general, I really liked how the team played. I feel like this team has a

choice to make on whether they want to be a serious team or not. And it's not, it has nothing to do

with talent or anything like that. But they just, they show these flashes. Memphis had won 10

out of their last 11 games, been playing extremely well. Max
