Summary

The Lebanese army says that three soldiers have been killed after a military vehicle was hit by an Israeli air strike.

Near the border, UN peacekeepers say their watchtower was bulldozed by the Israeli army.

Also in the programme: Moldova takes part in presidential elections, and also decides on the country's relationship with the European Union; Cuba - already suffering power blackouts - braces itself for a storm that could hit the island's main electricity generators: and what Japan's doing about its abandoned homes.

1:08.8

would go after a Lebanese military vehicle but it is an area of intense fighting at the moment, both in the air, lots

1:15.7

of aerial bombardments, but also it's an area where Israeli ground forces are close by fighting

1:20.9

quite difficult battles with Hezbollah.

1:23.0

So anyone down there that includes the Lebanese army and the UN forces there,

1:27.5

even though they're not actually taking part in this fighting,

1:30.5

they are at risk of getting caught up in this and there's been no

1:33.6

comment so far from the Israeli side about why it happened.
