and around the world. And the work of today's guest, Joe Chalida, does just that.

Joe is a fashion designer, writer and historian who is actively working to archive and preserve

the incredibly rich history of Lebanese fashion and craftsmanship.

With an academic background in law and fashion, which he garnered in Sydney,

Joe's journey in the fashion industry was facilitated by an invitation to join the creative

team at Elisab in Beirut. Since then, he has worked as a fashion and fashion history expert

and consultant and contributed to numerous publications, TV shows, and lectures dedicated

to spreading awareness of Lebanon's fashion heritage around the world.

This is something he documents on the daily with his educational Instagram account

at Lebanese fashion history. And I actually began following this account last year,

April, and immediately became clear that I wanted to ask Joe to be on the show.

He has done such a wonderful and thoughtful job with this account.

And I have learned so much, and I know our listeners will too.
