I know that's a very challenging task, but U.S. Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen recently gave a speech defending the Biden administration's pandemic spending. Can you help us understand a little bit better about what she actually had to say?

Yeah, this was last Wednesday. She told the U.S. Conference of Mayors in Washington

that the economy's strong performance proves that this massive COVID-era pandemic spending

was the right approach from the administration.

And she even went so far as to claim that the Biden administration avoided a crisis

on the scale of the 1930s Great Depression.

What I thought was very telling as well, she stated that Biden believed that the most

dangerous risk heading into the pandemic was going in too small with government spending.

I thought this was just an absurd statement to make, given that debt was already a massive problem when Biden took office.
