Hey everyone, welcome to another time of guided prayer hosted by the Colson Center.

I'm John Stone Street, the president of the Colson Center, and I have just had the privilege

of hosting these times each and every week.

I think we're into week six or seven now, and they have been so meaningful.

And of course, this is kind of part two of a series that began all the way before the election,

where it just seemed imperative that, you know,

as so many Christians write us and ask us questions

about what's happening in culture,

they often say, well, other than pray, what else can I do?

And we always want to say, okay, here's some other things you can do,

but prayer is doing something because we realize in a Christian

worldview, the world's not under our control. The world's ultimately under the control of the one who

created it and in Christ is restoring and renewing all things. And so that's the story we're part of.

And this time, over the last several weeks, this kind of part two of that prayer series has been

about what it means to walk in wisdom and the reflections from folks like Sean McDow

and last week from Jennifer Marshall Patterson and so many others have just been a remarkable

reminder that God is kind to us.

As James says, if you lack wisdom, ask for it, and God will give it to you.

And in Proverbs, even before we asked for it, God gave us wisdom that we needed.

So we're just really grateful for this time together.
