Hi, everybody. Welcome to the Mormon newscast. It is December 22nd. It is the last newscast before Christmas. We are all looking a little bit Christmassy tonight. I'm Rebecca Bibliateka. I am joined by my festive colleagues, Radio Free Mormon. Look at you. Is that a Christmas tie?

It is. That's Spider-Man bringing gifts to all the good boys and girls who read

Marvel comics, not to those who read DC comics. He's being pulled not by a tiny reindeer, but a big

green Hulk. That is, I can't think of anything more festive. That's amazing. And Bill, how are

your holidays shaping up? We're getting close to the big day.

I think I have all my gifts done that I have to have, and there's still a few gifts that I want to get that I need to tackle still.

So I'm usually one of those guys that's out on Christmas Eve, getting things at the last minute, wrapping them late at night.

Yeah, that's what

yeah well i'm to theater city and then you can laugh at me but you know why that is

because i don't have to do that much often yeah so you say so you think i've been checking my

mailbox i don't see anything so maybe it hasn't arrived No. Oh, you haven't gotten what I sent you?

You know, I don't know. All right. Let us break into our slides here. We're feeling very festive tonight. So we might be a little silly, but hopefully not.

There's our wonderful thumbnail that Bill always provides us with. He does a fantastic job. And we have, there was actually, we thought it was a slow news week. And then we started looking at the stories and we're like, no, there's actually a lot of news. And of course, the first thing that we want to say to everybody is at the very top of the show, Merry Christmas from the Mormon newscast. And I made this cute little AI. I think everybody looks fantastic as an elf. What do you guys? You're the one who's responsible for this, huh? It was me. How can you look so good? I should have figured out who made it just by who looks good. I didn't tell it anything. I just said, take this newscast photo and turn us into elves. So I think we look cute. I like you look cute. Yeah, there you go. That's what it is.

But the sentiment is there. We really hope that everybody has an amazing holiday, an amazing Christmas,

and we're thankful for all of you guys. Anything you want to add as far as a Christmas wish before we

dive into our news. I'm not sure I've ever said you look cute in a more insulting way in my life.

It was kind of insulting, but I chose to ignore it.
