So the rain, I haven't gotten anything here this morning here over on the east side. I've got no rain this morning. No last night, nothing in the day.

I will tell you the rain was impressive overnight. What? That's a fact. I woke up this morning going, eh? Maybe this is going to happen. Maybe not.

I'm just going to the watering hole. Well, that's a win to it's been so dry that the ground just soaps it up though, just soaps it up that we just don't have well, we needed it so bad.

Yeah, and I think like there's a nice breeze. Yeah, it's pretty windy in the sun's out and I just feel like by the end of the day, this will all be.

This will all be taking care of and by the time, by the time the back nine rolls around, I should be in very, very good shape from a dryness standpoint, I feel like.

It's a big win for everybody, my friend. Did you watch it? Did you watch any of the hockey last night? Stanley Cup. The massacre? Yeah.

Yeah. Nine three, they just went a little bit. How do you, I mean, we've got in your lifetime, you've got, you know, one championship, the 16 calves, that's it, that's the list.

There's some of our older listeners who remember back to the 60s and remember the championship here at the Browns, but it's been few and far between and this is an operation that's been around for seven years.

They were, in fact, they weren't around for seven years. They didn't exist seven years ago. There wasn't even a name. There was nothing and the NHL.

And the reason I think this is interesting is I think it was an arms race for the city of Las Vegas and the NHL gets a lot of things wrong, but I do think they got this one right as much as it pains me.

They found a guy who was aggressive in ownership, a guy named Bill Foley. He's a West Point grad investment guy made a lot of money in the insurance sector.

He buys the franchise for 500 million and the NHL as opposed to what happened here to the Browns or it happens to most expansion teams, the NHL kind of not kind of absolutely enabled them to be good right away. In fact, encouraged it.

They were allowed to pick off of every team in the league, the eighth best forward, the fourth best defenseman and the second best goalie.

They played for the Stanley Cup in year one and they won it last night and they're set up to be good for a very, very long time.

And it was something that was done very intentionally, Gibby. They were the first to Las Vegas and they made it kind of job one to be good right away so that they could stake their claim that they are Las Vegas.

And if you saw the images from last night and the stuff that's come out this morning of the parties and the people, it's easy to follow a winner.

But I can't help it be a little bit bitter because I know how hard it's been for this organization since coming back as an expansion team to build a consistent winner, how hard it is in the NFL to build a winner anyway.

I think about even our neighbors to the South, the Columbus Blue jackets were a previous expansion franchise and it was brutal.

It still is brutal. They're forever away from from winning a championship.
