Summary
Planet Stories 1944 copy-A morgue ship with recent information gathered from space that would end a 300 year old war is commandeered by a greedy crew member who wants to sell the information to their enemies, the Martians- and only one man can stop him.

| 0:51.0 | The Morg ship had gleaned information from space that would end the 300-year war, |
| 0:56.0 | knowledge that would defeat the aggressor marshes, if Brandon could carry it to Earth. |
| 1:02.0 | Logan's way of laughing was bad. There's a new body up in the |
| 1:07.2 | airlock Brandon. Climb the rungs and have a look. Logan's eyes had a green shine to them, eager and intent. They were ugly, obscene. |

| 1:19.0 | This room of the morgue ship was crowded with their two personalities. |
| 1:24.0 | Besides that, there were scores of cold selves of bodies freezing quietly |
| 1:28.0 | and the insisted vibration of the coroner tables, |
| 1:31.0 | machinery spinning under them, and Logan was like a little machine that |
| 1:35.0 | never stopped talking. |

| 1:39.2 | Brandon rose up, tall and thinned by the years, looking as old as a pocket meteor. |

| 1:46.0 | Logan sucked his cigarette. |

| 1:50.0 | Scared it might be your son we just picked up. |
| 1:59.0 | Brandon reached Logan at about one stride, and while the Morga ship slipped on through space, he clenched the coroner's blue uniform with the small bones inside it and hug it up against the wall, pressing inward until Logan couldn't breathe. |
