you're singing along. It is tea time. Big story at the top of the show. Leah McSweeney's lawsuit

against Andy Cohen and Bravo heads to court this month.

So in one appears to be a first for a Real Housewife cast member, Leah's lawsuit is scheduled

for oral arguments later this month.

The suit accuses Andy Cohen and Bravo of intentionally attempting to make her relapse into alcohol addiction

for the sake of ratings. Now, page six reported this thirst. They think a judge will hear the

arguments on October 30th, so that's quite soon. The lawsuit alleges that producers

exploited Leah. They knew she had a struggle with alcohol addiction and a history of mental health

issues, but they did all this because they wanted to get bigger ratings. Now, this lawsuit

marks a significant moment for the Real Housewife franchise,

as no cast member has ever seen their case argued in court before.

We know that Nini links of the Real Housewives of Atlanta and Caroline Manzo of the Jersey Housewives

both pursued legal action against the network.

However, their cases did not progress to this stage.
