0:18.8	You know, as you know, the Republican budget bill cannot pass without the votes of the House members from the state of New York,
0:28.8	where much harm will be done by that bill.
0:32.6	The governor is going to tell us what she might be able to do to protect New Yorkers from some of that harm, but some of it
0:39.1	is pure federal government activity that these Republican House members from the state of New York.
0:45.5	So they voted for it the first time, but when it comes back through for the final passage,
0:50.6	will they be there? That's the big question. Always the big question. Some of them said
0:55.3	they would never support Medicaid cuts, and then they did. Then they did. Yeah. So here we are.
1:01.4	Thanks, Jen. Thanks, Lawrence. Thank you. Well, the breaking news of the night is that Donald Trump
1:06.6	has issued another travel ban. It is a total ban for anyone except athletes entering the United
1:12.5	States from 12 countries and a limited ban on people entering the United States from seven other
1:18.2	countries. The bans do not apply to athletes, coaches, and their immediate relatives
1:22.4	traveling to the United States for the World Cup, the Olympics, and some other sporting events.
1:27.9	The 12 countries facing a total ban are Afghanistan, Burma, Chad, Republic of Congo,
1:33.5	Equatorial Guinea, Eritrea, Haiti, Iran, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, and Yemen.
1:38.8	The partially restricted countries are Urundi, Cuba, Laos, Sierra Leone, Togo, Turkmenistan, and Venezuela.
1:47.3	The claimed reason for the travel ban is the failure of the named countries to properly
1:53.3	screen and vet travelers to the United States. The other obvious reason for announcing the travel ban tonight that will take effect on Monday
