There's some update on one of the issues that we've been talking about on this podcast,

which is sort of interesting. And it's the federalization of the issues that we've been talking about on this podcast, which is sort of interesting.

And it's the federalization of the police in the District of Columbia.

So here's the context.

The context is that Trump becomes the first president since partial home rule was created for D.C. to try to invoke this

provision that lets him not take over the metropolitan police force in the District of Columbia,

but to ask the mayor for its services, which she is obligated to provide for a federal purpose.
