All right, so let us say hello to Lauren Murphy, who competed this past Saturday night in the

0:10.8

Colmei event of UFC 266. It did not go her way in her first bid to become a UFC world champion

0:17.3

against Valentina Shepchenko, but she is kind enough to join us a few days later to talk all about

0:22.3

it, which I greatly appreciate. And the dogs are here too, which is no surprise to me or anybody else.

0:26.8

Lauren, thank you for doing this. How are you?

0:29.4

I'm pretty good, man. All things considered I'm doing all right.

0:33.1

There you go. Well, well, first off, let's just say the odds of being a mixed martial artist

0:38.0

in getting to the UFC, not very high, earning a world title opportunity in the UFC. Super

you know, especially after a hard loss like that. Valentina is definitely a different level,

1:13.7

you know, like I've never competed with anybody like that before, like her pressure on top,

1:21.7

like the way I couldn't move on the ground, like that's never really happened to me before.

1:26.6

And yeah, just like the level of her striking and even just the way she competes, like just

1:35.1

she's very present and aware the whole time. We got the whole plan now. But anyway, she's

1:41.8

she's incredible. It was pretty it was pretty crazy to be in there with somebody who got that

1:46.0

level, you know, because I've truly never really competed with anybody that level before.

1:50.6

And I don't remember the fourth round really. So I guess that's pretty good.

1:58.4

And yeah, I mean, it's a bummer to lose. It's always a bummer to lose. And as the first time I've

2:02.5

ever been finished, I think it was a good stoppage. I was pretty out of it by the time the rest
