And we thought we'd follow that up with an interview with someone who's involved in Crowded House and just get more of a personal account of what that's like.

So we're delighted to welcome Laura Stewart to the podcast.

Hi, Laura.

Hello.

Great to have you with us.

Could you start by telling us a little bit about yourself and how you got involved

in Crowded House?

Yeah, I've been part of the Crowded House for about four years.

When I moved to Sheffield, for the University, I started coming to Crowded House.

And, yeah, I've been part of it ever since in kind of various forms.

So I've been part of various gospel communities over the years.

And at the moment, I'm in a gospel community called Southview.

Yeah.

Brilliant.

And what led you to get involved in the first place?

Well, I'd never heard of the crowded house and just intended to find a good church when I moved to Sheffield.

And I left my halls of residence on my first Sunday morning and bumped into a guy who was leaving his halls of residence.

And he said he was going to church

and he'd met a girl called bex at a church search barbecue so um yeah i went along with him and kind of
