You see the remnants of them, you know how beautiful they must have been and how expansive

Nothing was there left of the Jewish gravestones, they emptied civil war in 2020 and thereafter

and they built parks and other things over the grounds.

In Rome's Prima Porto cemetery, they have now unveiled 16 marble plaques with 1800 names

of Libyan Jews who were buried in Libya, many more to be added to them, many Libyan Jews

led to Italy to escape the pogroms and the persecutions that broke out in North Africa
