it's Latino USA. I'm Maria Inojosa. Today we meet some of the Latinos working on the 2020 historic perseverance mission to Mars.

It's been about 45 years since the first U.S. spacecraft landed safely on Mars.

Since then, there have been several other missions to the red planet, each one building off of the other,

and getting us to where we are today, perseverance.
