Five, count them five commitments for Florida State today on day five, coincidentally enough, of the transfer portal window.

A while Tom Lang appeared, and he's going to talk the Desir twin brothers who have been causing quite a ruckus, especially in the hearts of Florida State fans, as nobody wanted to see those two dudes enter the transfer portal. But what have you been hearing the latest about what the Deere twins are asking for? Maybe some of the misinformation that's going around right now about whether or not they had a deal in place before today. What came first, the chicken or the egg, all that, all that jazz. What have you

been hearing? So I'll start from the beginning. When they were out of high school, the first deal

that they signed the RevShared deal, I believe it was a multi-year deal, but it was low because

they were not highly sought after relative to a lot of defensive line prospects. So it was at a reasonable

price. And obviously, as production presented itself on Mandrell's part this season,

it's not like Darrell played poorly.

Darrell is probably more on a true traditional true freshman track,

whereas Mandrell is on this other level, that they were going to need to revisit it.

And I was told late in the season that there was revisiting.

They could very well have signed a deal i'm not

trying to say that something's right or something's wrong i just couldn't confirm that but there was

a revisiting of the numbers and so uh that is one part of the equation in terms of getting from

the high school number to where we're trying to go today. The problem is when they go into the portal

yesterday, we're recording this Tuesday night, so it happened yesterday, I think around the two o'clock

hour, is you've had essentially a roller coaster of negotiations. I'm sure negotiations predated

the deser's putting their names or intending to enter the portal, however it was officially reported, because they're not officially in the portal as of Tuesday night, that there's been confidence that's high on Florida State's side in a couple moments, really high, and then there's dire straits from Florida State's side.

This has been a true roller coaster.

I was told yesterday evening that it felt like there were

parameters in place to go get this thing done and settle the issue. Then I checked in this morning
