the narrative is, it never happens. What do you mean? That doesn't happen. And sometimes,

maybe more times, it is, well, it happens, but it's exceedingly rare. Or it happens only when

absolutely medically necessary to save

the life of the mother, or because there's some sort of fatal abnormality with the unborn child,

how often does it really happen? And even if it only happened once, why do those who want to

protect the unborn particularly object to late-term abortion?

Joining us to discuss late-term abortion, Dr. Donna Harrison, a board certified obstetrician

and gynecologist, director of research for the American Association of Pro-Life Obstetricians

and Gynecologists.

She's associate scholar for the Charlotte Lozier Institute, and they've produced a paper titled Questions and Answers on Late-Term

Abortions. Dr. Harrison, welcome back. Thank you, Todd. We are often told by the media and

by abortion supporters that late-term abortion either doesn't happen or is exceedingly rare.

I have two questions in that regard.

First, why should someone who believes that abortion is a good thing,

why should they try to make the case that late-term abortion is rare?
