All they needed to really do is just put a target in a couple areas and you'll be fine,

because once there's a target, there's no reason to leave.

But even that, if you live in Hollywood, it's not easy.

So Hollywood, when they envision LA, they tend to be very scared.

Blade Runner is like a great example of this.

So in the 80s and the early 80s, everyone was freaking out about growth, that there were

gonna be skyscrapers everywhere.

In Westwood, if you know the Westwood corridor, they did loosen up the building on that, just

for a second, and then the next day, there were a bunch of towers, and so people were

freaking out, that it was Blade Runner opening shot where it's huge towers, as far as you

can see, was Hollywood's nightmare for people that lived in the hills, basically.

Because it would block their view?

Is them looking out from their houses on the top of the hills, basically imagining how

bad it could be?

Yes, because it could block their view, essentially.

Do you know about this, like a real thing called air rights?

You would have the rights to essentially your view?

Is that something that was in a movie called Burlesque?
