It's that time of year, everybody.

Tis the season.

The Angela Russell puts out on X the message period that's it that's what he puts out there and

of course this set a lot of fans their imaginations running wild trying to figure out exactly what Deandro Russell meant by this.

Of course, the bigger story here and all of this is that anything Deandro Russell says or does at this point is going to be at least

somewhat newsworthy because he remains the most likely Laker to be traded. We know the Lakers would

like to improve their roster before the season starts and most likely the path to doing that is going to involve De Angela Russell and his 18.7 million dollar contract. Now if I'm Delo, I'd probably have a little bit of fun with everybody too and, you know, put some cryptic stuff out there on X, just send out the eyeball emoies or whatever.

But the fact remains that Delos 18.7 million dollar

expiring contract is going to be a significant trade

chip for the Lakers.

It's why you're going to see most Lakers trades, hypothetical or otherwise. trade,

hypothetical or otherwise,

are going to be built around De Angela Russell

and or Rui Hachamura,

Rui Hachamara at $17 million.

Those are most likely going to be the building block pieces that everything is built upon in any kind of a Lakers trade situation.
