And after sitting on it, watching the tape, digesting it a bit, today's pod's going to be about game two adjustments in the Lakers Wolves series.

It's funny, I thought this a little bit when I watched the game live, but rewatching it,

especially in context of what I always say is my favorite basketball weekend of the year with four playoff games on two consecutive days, first day of the year where everybody's

really playing for stakes. I thought this while I was watching live, but it was really striking to me the difference

in intensity and effort that the Lakers played with than almost any other playoff team

to a degree that was like, like it starts there.

They had more juice for a 1230 game in OKC than they did for game one of the playoffs.

Just wild to me. So before we get into any adjustments or anything like that, I just wanted to start. That really stood out to me. There were so many possessions where they were just lackadaisical and not mentally locked in. Luca to me was really one of the only top guys that showed up ready to play in that game. And so hopefully game two is a little bit better, D.

But let's start there, man.

They got to bring a lot better effort than they did.

They do.

I thought LeBron was pretty good defensively the entire game.

Like I thought he seemed tuned into what they were doing.

Offensively, I thought LeBron was, I don't want to say not as sharp, but it looked like he looked

rusty to me and he looked not as just in a flow. And Austin seemed way out of sorts
