Game Day. Lakers Mavs 7 p.m. Pacific time tonight. Can the Lakers head into the All-Star break the right

way and get a win? I'm going to take a look at what they're going to need to do to get the job done,

plus the injury report for both teams, some really big absences on both sides tonight.

For we get into a quick reminder, it'll be live tonight on the YouTube channel, 7 p.m.

Pacific time, breaking everything down, doing a little play-by-play.

It's like a party, like I always say, hopefully tonight will be a much more celebratory party

than the last one that we did where it was Lakers versus Spurs, and that was, well, a bit of a catastrophe. But I've repressed that. I've done a lot of work over the last two days to try to cleanse my palate. And now I am ready tonight for the Lakers to take on the Dallas Mavericks. And the party, it's going to be much more fun tonight. All right. Let's get into the injury update on both sides. Don't forget to subscribe to the YouTube channel. Turn on those notifications. Follow us over on Apple Podcast, Spotify, Marvel, you listed a podcast as well. DeAndre Aiton on the Lakers Injury Report listed as questionable for tonight's game. He did miss last game against the Spurs. He was one of several

players, including Marcus Smart, LeBron James, Austin Reeves, Luca Donchich, we're all out of action

for the Lakers against San Antonio. He was questionable to play tonight. Hopefully he is a go, but

right now very much up in the air. And whenever it's the last game before the All-Star break, there's always, if you've got a guy who's got a little bit of a lingering injury, there's going to be that extra incentive to keep the player out one more game so that then they get a full week plus after that of rest and recovery.

Speaking of which, Lukadchich is already declared out.

That makes four straight games and really four and a half.

We consider that he got injured right before halftime in the game that he got hurt in.

So Luca will now miss his fourth game for the Los Angeles Lakers.

LeBron James after missing last game is no longer eligible for in-season

awards.

So MVP, defensive player of the year, the all-NBA teams, all of those awards, right?

No longer eligible.

Luca now getting kind of close.

I think he has five more games that he can miss through the remainder of the season

and still be eligible for postseason awards or I'm sorry, in season awards.
