But you know, I think the big thing, the overarching topic that I want to get into today,

it's patience.

And do the Lakers have the ability and the time really to be patient? I think a lot of

that's going to come down to Luka. What is he expecting from the Lakers this summer, given that he

can sign that a contract extension that the Lakers very badly want and need him to sign when he's

eligible to on August 2nd? I look back historically at what this team has done, and in moments where most of us,

myself included, have felt that they really need to get something done.

I know that's where a lot of Lakers fans are as well.

They need to get something done now.

They need to do something that shakes up the roster.

They need to do something that changes pieces out and puts championship caliber players on the team.
