And in this week where we review this first part of the season, Lakers do not have a game until Friday due to the NBA Cup. We took some questions. I solicited some questions over on Blue Sky, if you want to

join me over there. Let's get to them right away, Dee. First question comes from Plant Ranch.

Why do you think the level of effort and focus has dropped off so sharply from the first weeks

of the season? Oh, man. That's a very good question. It's what I wish I actually had the answer to.

I'd love to hear the coach's opinion on that.

It's probably a combination of factors. A team led by LeBron and AD, I think, is going to waxen wane in terms of effort when they're like your leaders and mental engagement.

I do think that strength of schedule is one thing. I do think the amount of travel

and the back and forth, which is the same for every NBA team. So I don't want to harp too much

on that. But I do think that it's a contributing factor and that it's real. And I also think,

to Pete, that it's not just effort and attentiveness that makes it so that the team

isn't playing as well. And there could be other reasons why your team isn't playing well.

And then when you start to lose, that impacts your focus, right? Yes. But I feel like the nature

of the question isn't, why aren't the Lakers playing well? It's, there are so many very obvious periods of the game where it's like,

the hell is wrong with y'all? Like, can you just inbound the ball normally? Like, just don't be

weird, you know, like pay attention to what you're doing type of thing that I think it is a combination
