Dot com podcast. I am Trevor Laid and unfortunately we've got injury news to talk about

on today's show of the Lakers losing Christian Wood for eight weeks, probably more than that realistically.

We'll dive into it.

Joining me to help break down all of this, it's editor extraordinary, Daniel Stark and

Daniel, good to see you, glad you're healthy.

At least you're, between Christian Wood and Pukunakua,

I can't anymore, Daniel, I can't.

Yeah, and we got the started training camp in a few weeks here.

So I am healthy, ready to go in the best shape of my life,

as they used to say, or as they like to say this time of year.

But yeah, the same cannot be said for Christian Wood,

unfortunately.

Usually, you know, we get to training camp

with everyone healthy and then the injuries started happening,

but I guess the Lakers just wanted

to get a head start on that this year.

I apparently, you know, this was an extremely injured team last season and then we get the

news today that Christian would is I would assume this is not breaking for anybody who follows the Lakers at this point, but this was the official report from the Lakers.

Christian Wood underwent a successful arthroscopic surgical procedure on his left need today and that he will be re-evaluated,

gosh I hate that word re-evaluated by team doctors in approximately eight weeks.

I mean he's not coming back in eight weeks, that means they're going to check and see if he can start to ramp up and prepare to come back so we're probably looking at 10 weeks if not more I would say the minimum just by counting the games between now and I'm looking into
