Hello, Lakers nation, welcome in to Lakers Nation,

I am Trevor Lane. You can find me over on X at Trevor underscore Lane. The Lakers, their furious rally, it comes up short in the end. They fall to the Dallas Mavericks. A game when it looked like the Lakers, they came all the way back. They were down 20 at one point. A 30 to 13 fourth quarter, it looked like the Lakers were going to pull off the comeback,

but bad possessions down the stretch and missed free throws proved to be their undoing.

Lakers went three straight possessions without scoring and missed four straight free throws.

Absolutely brutal, brutal stuff. The way this

game played out for much of it, folks, I thought the Lakers weren't all that interested in

playing basketball for a good chunk of the game tonight. Look, I'm interested, certainly

didn't have the energy on the defensive end, the offensive rebounding or the defensive

rebounding from the Lakers side. It was atrocious. I was thinking that this was going to be a Dallas blowout.

When we were about midway through the third quarter, we were looking ahead to football

games for tomorrow.

My buddy, K.O. was texting me some fantasy football trades.

And then, lo and behold, sparks of life from the Lakers.

They start coming back. They start draining threes they start getting stops but unfortunately just wasn't enough it was too

little too late and too many mistakes made down the stretch in this one we We'll get into the chat.

In just a moment, Matt, the Optimus Peralta will be joining me shortly.

But tough, tough way to head into Thanksgiving for the Lakers to drop that game when it felt like the momentum was all going their way

and that they were going to ultimately pull off this big epic comeback to head

into the holiday weekend but did not get the job done.

Frustrating, I know you guys are frustrated.
