We thought this might be a quiet day after all that it happened yesterday, LeBron James choosing the Lakers unexpectedly.

I mean, this is after only July 2nd.

It seems like we've been going through this especially with all the deals that we're agreed to.

Even that first night, the first three hours of free agency.

But oh no, it was not quiet in the slightest.

And I actually want to start with the moves that I think will be most significant this season.

And that is not to Marcus Cousin to the Warriors.

I want to start with the Lakers.

That was quite a whirlwind from the Lakers because of just the timing of all this was pretty nuts.

So the first thing we heard, so we knew the Lakers had a little bit of space and just kind of saying they're going,

okay, where's this going to go?

There was a report that they were going to have a meeting with Julius Randall at some point on Monday.

And then boom, like a shot in the shot in the night, I think Wojsh had at first that.

And the phrasing struck me that Randall was renounced.

And I'm saying they're going, wait, what?

So it wasn't just that they revoked his qualifying up, but it was renounced.

And so you start running through different ideas, going through that.

And you're like, oh, well, maybe they're going to sign and trade it.

Maybe they're going to do all this other stuff.

Oh, maybe they're all these are things.

And then you see boom, they sign Rijon Rondo and say, go, oh, okay, wonder what the term is.
