Just barely.

Some nervous moments, but the final score 116, 114, The Lakers emerged from the desert with a much needed win.

Let's get into what happened in this one because I'll tell you what,

there's a lot of good, there's a lot of bad, there were some nervous moments that maybe

didn't need to happen.

There were also some incredible moments where all you can do was cheer.

Jared Vanderbilt flying everywhere.

Marcus Smart making defensive plays.

So many great things from this Lakers team.

Everything seemed to happen in this game. No Austin Reeves for the Lakers dealing with the left calf strain, not expected to be a long-term injury. Marcus Smart steps in as a starter and makes

probably the most controversial decision of the game when he attacks the basket with seconds left,

gets blocked, turns into a three for the Sons,

and actually surrenders the lead for the Lakers.

But Smart starts for Austin Reeves, really good defensive game by Smart.
