Welcome back to the Lantern Rouge Cycling Podcast. This is the Vuelta of Spaniards Stage 7 recap.

0:06.6

We had Crosswind, eh, I wouldn't say chaos, just a bit of, yeah, some Crosswind action,

0:13.0

especially on some of the climbs. And I'm here with Benji Nice, and as usual,

0:18.5

Alexander Vlasov, yesterday, Benji's got enough work for the pod. The European hours,

0:24.0

the time change is destroying both of us. But as you know, I've Vuelta, a Spaniard

0:29.1

podcaster also brought to you by local podcast partner. They produced performance, cycling,

0:35.7

apparent, they provided to Bahrain McLaren in the pro peloton, and Vuelta piles on Bahrain McLaren.

1:29.9

but there's a 14% pinch in there, they do the first climb at 57k, then more rolling hills,

1:38.8

etc, not perfectly flat by any means, and then they do the second climb with 130k

1:44.0

into the stage, and then afterwards it's about 20k to the finish from the crest.

1:49.3

Not a particularly technical descent off the climb, there was a technical descent

1:54.6

off the La Tejera climb in the middle of the stage, but that wasn't a very hard climb.

1:59.2

So we didn't know whether there was going to be a breakaway or GC action, I thought maybe

2:03.1

more so when I tried something, so they're on that climb, but they did try something different,
