Spain, Stage 12, the Anglo-Roo stage, feared climb before the second rest day,

tomorrow, the stage to Anglo-Roo 109Ks, and all you need to know about it really is

this brutal climb at the end, the Anglo-Roo 13.2Ks at 10%, but really it's the last 7Ks

of the brutal ones averaging, I think, like 12% with a 17.5%

third to last kilometre, so an unbelievably hard climb with fabled winners before,

concertor, Harris, Horner, I think dropped nearly back in the day in 2014 or 2013,

Kenny Ellis on in 2012, and we knew there were going to be some GC gaps today, but this podcast

what was the status of the breakaway in this stage, a short stage, so we didn't really give

it much of a chance, given how hard the climb was 110Ks, but there was some decent breakaway action,

wasn't there, with some GC team seeing some people up the road.

Yes, we had a breakaway of quite a few riders, firstly, it looked like only two riders were getting

in the breakaway, fortunately that quickly switched into a larger breakaway with, for example,

Kataneo, the Abu Shenko, Lewis Down Sanchez, Shalingat, we had Stanard, that's Robert Stanard,

Nadian, he's not here, Edmondson also from Mitchellton, Antony Hu for FDJ, Wanderberg for EF1,

so education first, Nolspites, once again, one of the riders that has won multiple stages
