36 hours after the murder of our deputy, the men and women of our department arrested him

early this morning.

I'm very proud, very proud of the work that our men and women have done.

In an update to a story from this morning's episode, law enforcement and Los Angeles

have detained a suspect in connection to the fatal shooting of Sheriff's Deputy Ryan Clinkenbrumer.

Daily Wire Senior Editor Cabot Phillips has more.

A tape reportedly led officers to a home in Palmdale, where a relative of the male suspect

provided key details in the case.

According to Fox News, the suspect inside that home was taken into custody,

quote, without incident, after gas was deployed at the property.

Clinkenbrumer was shot in its patrol vehicle on Saturday and later succumbed to his injuries at the hospital.

While the motive has not yet been provided, the Sheriff's Office says they suspect

the deputy was deliberately targeted because he was an officer.

The United Auto Workers Strike has entered its fourth day with no potential agreement in sight

between the Union and the big three automakers.

The UAW is demanding a four-day work week, increased pay and other benefits.

Economists warned that a prolonged strike could hamper the U.S. economy,

but Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen said Monday that it's too early to tell

how the work stoppage will impact the nation.

We want to see the two sides come to a win-win agreement.
