to still be hosting this podcast. And padam padam, I feel her and I know it's Michelle Andrews.

I've listened to so many of these intros. I was like, what is she going to come up with? It's for Kylie.

And that was a 10 out of 10. I loved it. So you've chosen Kylie Milo today. I have what led us here

to this decision. Okay, so I think I want to do Kylie because I'm obviously Australian. And

I feel a certain way about Kylie as someone who was originally kind of hated or derided in Australia.

But then got a stamp of approval from the UK. And then has now become an Australian national treasure.

Okay, that's fascinating. Yeah. I love Kylie Minogue in that I just think she was such like in

her absolute peak. I think she still is this because as you just referenced, padam padam just came

out and she's still killing it. But she was such a quintessential pop star. And there's something

about her that I just love. Like I love her energy. I love this because as an Australian person,

you must have had her just shoved in your gum from the minute you could stand. And so definitely

there's often an temptation when somebody is the hometown hero. Like, for example, I've heard

from lots of German people that they hate Heidi Klum. And the kind of explanation for this is

that Heidi Klum takes what people think about Germany and makes a living off of it and reflects

back the stereotypes of what Germany is. And people and in Germany, lots of just really fucking

don't like Heidi Klum. And it will be very tempting for the same thing to happen with a Kylie Minogue.
