KVJ cuts. So why is everybody wanting out of Florida?

Saw that headline. I was like, wait, everybody wants out of Florida, what the heck is going on I thought everybody

was coming to Florida yeah that's what confused me as well rich people are coming

everyone else is leaving I think it's I think you nailed it on the head honestly bird I get it because yeah

that did surprise me too I'm like wait a minute who went out of Florida but there are

numbers to back it up and they're pretty convincing if you ever heard of Zillow? Yes. Okay, yeah, it's where you go and you list houses for sale and all that.

You can go on there and see like if your house was ever on there. It saves Zillow forever.

Oh it does. Yeah, you can go back and find like three incarnations ago.

If I type in my house on Zillow, it'll take me back to three owners before me.

Oh, that's kind of cool.

Wow.

It's wild to see how your house has changed since you've been in it.

Okay, yeah, I'm not really familiar with the site, but it is where you list houses and Florida has more Zillow

listings in general than the rest of the United States. Comparing it against big

states like California and Texas and New York we are still crushing them in the numbers.

They say that, you know, part of it might be because we've got not only residential properties,

but we also have vacation property so that could

inflate the number a bit but the one that is more damning for this is what they call

motivated sellers.

And a motivated seller is somebody who will accept

lower offers from potential home buyers to sell quickly.

It's people that just want to get the heck out.
