Okay, are you the jerk if you're lying for tips? This person set us an email.

They said, I have been giving guided tours at a place here in South Florida now I can't say where or I'm going to get fired but at the end of the tour the guides are allowed to say that we accept tips.

Well I just kind of like made an off-handed joke and I said,

yeah, we do accept tips and I just found out my son needs braces.

I gotta tell you, I've never been tips so well.

The catch is that I don't have any kids.

So am I a jerk if I keep doing this every tour?

Wow, the money's really coming in.

I mean, it really works to say they never sell so many tips ever in their life.

It was an off hand, they thought it was just a joke,
