Today’s Life Question of the Week comes from an oncology nurse who wants to know how she can hold the space for her patients’ healing without falling into blame if and when that doesn’t happen.
Next, Michael sits down with Gurmukh. Gurmukh is a Legacy Teacher of Kundalini Yoga and Meditation as taught by Yogi Bhajan and served and studied with him from 1970 until he left his body in 2004. She directed the Golden Temple Restaurants in Santa Fe and Los Angeles and pioneered his first yoga center in Los Angeles in the early '80s, Golden Bridge Global Yoga. She developed the Khalsa Way prenatal yoga and authored three books on Kundalini yoga.
During their sweet and beautiful conversation, Gurmukh discusses her decades-long work teaching Kundalini Yoga around the world and how she’s still teaching and traveling at the age of 81; how she got her spiritual name Gurmukh; what Kundalini Yoga is and the distinction between it other yoga practices; and how politics challenges us to love unconditionally. She also leads us in a brief *Kundalini mantra practice–and more!
*Please note that the audio during the Kundalini mantra practice is less than optimal, but is still listenable.
