You know, this game is both frustrating to me but also expected.

I said on the pregame show that I thought Kentucky could get to 83 or 84 points,

but I didn't think we would win because I didn't think we would be able to just score as many as Alabama,

and in the end, that's exactly what happened.

I mean, there are a lot of intricacies of the game, but ultimately, Alabama has too much

offensive firepower for the version of Kentucky that we have right now.

The version without Butler and Robinson, I just don't think they can score enough to beat an

Alabama team that because of our

defensive inefficiencies is going to probably score 90 every single time they play us.

You know, a lot of people I saw online complaining about our defense, our defense is what it is.

We can't guard really good offensive teams.

We just can't. I mean, like, you just have to accept that. We cannot guard Florida. We cannot guard

Alabama. I think we're going to struggle to guard Auburn. That's just what it is. Like, we just can't guard those teams.

So our chance to beat them is we got to score a lot of points.

And I think when we have a full roster, I think we can do that.

But without two of our three best scores, maybe our two best scores, you just, we just don't have enough to do it.

And I think you saw it tonight.

Honestly, if Kentucky was going to have a chance, probably all five starters had to play well.
