this episode is about none other than our idol. We talk about her maybe every episode somehow, even if the

episode has nothing to do with her. Today we read or shall I say studied a cookbook by none other than Kristen

Cavallari, star of Luguna Beach and of course Vera Cavallari on E star of all to the hills, yes villain on the hills, mom, hero, business woman, designer, business owner, ex-best friend, style icon, ex-wife,

and lady boss, girl boss, Nashville transplant, chicken coop owner. So I think we should just dive right in. So just so everyone knows so this book is called true comfort. There's a photo of her staring off into a corner, holding a bowl of gluten free pasta on the cover. It's more than 100 cozy recipes free of gluten and refined sugar.

This is her third cookbook because yeah, us busy moms couldn't get it. One thing you associate with Kristen Cavallari, it's food. Here's the thing on the show. She actually is cooking. She is always cooking.

It's just it's like 50% of her house is islands. It's just like all massive Marvel islands. She's always a huge island talking with her now ex husband, Jay Cutler.

Okay, but we also need to just like just dive in. Okay, yeah, let's just so let's just the big reveal is we cooked food and it's literally sitting right here. We timed it perfectly because we're geniuses.

Yeah, sorry, I need garden like and we have three Cavallari dishes typing hot and one dessert. Let's start of first with the squash.

Carbonara. Carbonara. So we made a squash. Carbonara. When we say squash, we obviously need to do dolls because honestly, like white flowers, not welcome in Kristen's house.

Honestly, we have to talk about her background. Let's get into it right now. Let's just eat it and then all right, by one.

Mmm hmm. So creamy and hard. So it's both creamy and hard at the same time. Really a studying contrast. Very much like Kristen herself.

The color and only be described as like a children's slop. I mean, it's got the bright orange of the squash doodles. We have the bright, awesome green of the peas and the, you know, the pinkish shoes of the bacon.

And then so the call for, you know, obviously it egg and cheese mixed that you add to the pasta at the end. The reality of pastas.

It did scramble a little and I know that that scramble it can happen in any carbonara if you're not doing it right. I do feel like there's something about her recipe that kind of like
