0:11.6	quick update in the Corey Richens case, and then we're going to go through some of the canteen

0:27.5	available to Florida inmates. I typically will do this when I cover a big case and a lot of these
0:32.7	things are very specific to certain states or institutions. So I've done some research and found a few things
0:38.5	we could talk about. But on the Corey Richens front, last week we went over the filing where
0:43.9	Corey asked for a reconsideration for bond. This was after the drug dealer changed his story
0:49.9	and said he only sold the housekeeper Oxycontin and not fentanyl.
0:54.7	In their filing, the defense said that if the state couldn't place fentanyl in Corey's hands,
1:00.0	then the state had no case.
1:01.9	Well, the state responded and said that him changing his story doesn't meet the threshold
1:06.6	of a material change in circumstance.
1:09.6	They say there's still substantial evidence
1:11.8	to support the aggravated murder charge,
1:14.4	notwithstanding the drug dealer's assertion.
1:17.2	They gave a partial transcript from 2023
1:19.7	where the drug dealer Robert Crozier
1:22.1	was interviewed by the Summit County Sheriff's detectives.
