Hello everyone and welcome to police off-the-cuff real crime stories on your host,

retired NYPD, Sergeant Bill Cannon, a 27-year veteran of the NYPD.

You know, you would think that not much new could occur, happen during the Koeberger case

as it moves toward the trial date of August 11th.

However, the reverse is true.

And several new things are occurring.

And one of them, of course, you look at on this thumbnail here, witnesses subpoenaed.

And witnesses, you're thinking, what witnesses, you know?

And of course, the argument about the alternate suspect.

But the witnesses have been subpoenaed by the defense, by Ann Taylor and the defense.

And the witnesses are all Anne Taylor and the defense.

And the witnesses are all from Monroe County in Pennsylvania.

So they're all acquaintances or friends or teachers,

college advisors from DeSalle's University.

So interesting to us. And we're going to get into that later on as to why is this happening? But one of the things I think it signals to us and everyone

else that's following this case that this case is going forward. There's no more stalling.

The two years, it's been two years, and November 13th would make it

three years that has occurred. So there's no doubt in our mind and anyone else's mind that's

this case, this is going forward. And we're going to discuss what it means about these

persons from five individuals from Monroe County in Pennsylvania that are being subpoenaed

by the defense in this case, by Ann Taylor. And what does it mean? And what could they possibly have

as testimony that could help the defense?
