Guys, we've been covering the Brian Coburger or the Idaho Quadruple case, and I hate to refer to it as that the case of Ethan Chapin, Zana Connoodle, Madison Mogan,

and Kaylee Gonzalez. We've been covering this since the very beginning. A lot of happenings right

now inside the courtroom relative to discovery. And something really big happened today, of course.

And what that was is that the prosecution has decided to go for the death penalty.

The prosecutors in Idaho said they plan to seek the death penalty against the man accused of murdering four University of Idaho students in the home near campus last fall.

Bill Thompson, the top prosecutor in LATAR County, wrote in a court filing on Monday that the nature of the November killings,

the stabbings that occurred in the middle of the night and went unsolved for several weeks weeks met the standard for the kind of aggravating factors that aren't seeking the death penalty.

Among them, the suspect Brian Coburger, it charged with committing multiple murders.

The killings were especially heinous, atrocious, and cruel, and Mr. Cobour had exhibited utter disregard for human life.

As we know, Mr. Cobour was 28 years old at the time of the killings,

and he was studying for a PhD in criminology at neighboring Washington State University.

He said earlier on in this case, of course, this is according to the New York Times that he expects to be exonerated in this case.

At a hearing last month, we all know he declined to enter a plea,

and the judge, Judge, John Judge, entered a plea of not guilty for him.

This is the first murder in Idaho in seven years,

and it happens that it's a multiple, multiple murder.

So there's, of course, many, many issues,
