Well, just a day after Missouri Attorney General Andrew Bailey bolted for Washington, D.C.,

well, he hasn't actually left yet. It's going to be next month.

Decided to join as co-deputy director of the FBI.

The Kansas AG is making some news as he has filed an amicus brief, which is a friend of the court brief in a federal court,

claiming that Kansas Governor Laura Kelly does not have the right to join a lawsuit with 22 other states that are suing the Trump administration because he is withholding, lowering, or eliminating federal funding to these states.

This is going to be very interesting.

Kobach is arguing in front of the court that the governor

has no authority to join or bring any lawsuit that that specifically is the power of the attorney

general in any given state. And this lawsuit against Donald Trump, at least for the part of Kansas being

part of it, is not legal. It'll be interesting to see how this goes.

The gloves are off with Laura Kelly in the state of Kansas. There is a renewed vigor in the

Republican Party everywhere, and we're hoping that works its way into the state of Kansas.

Missouri politicians have done a much better job of taking control of their state than Kansas. Both states

have a supermajority. They've got complete control of everything, but wishy-washy Republicans in

Kansas have not gotten to a point where they have nominated a really quality candidate for governor

that stands out. Now, cleaning up elections, is that a problem in Kansas? I'm not sure.

I don't know how Laura Kelly won, even against candidates that are not great Republican candidates.

I guess maybe there's some Republicans out there that say, well, it would be nice if we had some

balance in Topeka and then would vote for a Democrat governor, but I haven't

met those people. I hear folks say there are voters like that, but I don't know those people that say,
