Today, I'm chatting with Carrie Fullmar about our shared passion for reading and studying the Bible.

If you don't know where Carrie Fullmar is passionate about encouraging women to enjoy the scriptures.

She's written the Good portion, scripture, it's really good. A book about the sweetness of God's word in addition to the Delighting in the Word Bible Studies series and how can women thrive in the local church?

As you'll hear, Carrie is the editor of the Good portion series and leads Women's Bible Studies at the United Christian Church of Dubai where her husband, John, is the senior pastor.

I am so excited to have you. I would say all the way from the Middle East, but in fact, you are traveling right now visiting the U.S.

You're only in Atlanta, Georgia, just an hour apart, but had you been in Dubai? How many hours apart would we be if I'm Central Standard Time?

We would be 10 hours apart.

Wow. So when did you get to the States? How long have you been here?

Two days ago.
